In November 2013, Beximco Communications Ltd., one of the newest start-ups of the Group, was awarded the license to operate Direct-to-Home (DTH) TV services in the country. It aims to bring state-of-the art digital TV viewing experience for the Bangladeshi households with a joint collaboration with General Satellite Group of Russia, world’s second largest DTH operator. Beximco’s DTH service will come into commercial operation by the end of 2015.
