Russia’s high technology can be significantly observed as GS Group’s international broadcast projects successfully set in motion its first DTH service by route of RealVU in partnership with Bangladesh’s largest and most diversified conglomerate Beximco Group. Post the execution of formal agreement between both the countries this new service, RealVU came into subsistence for bringing mass accessibility to high quality digital television.

RealVU comes with the range of over 100 standard and HD channels wherein packages that are offered for the customers include th e most sought – after English channels along with the highly regarded channels in Hindi and some local Bangladeshi content at the same time. Accordingly GS Group is also keen to supply hardware and software solutions for the regular service which would act as the system integrator.
The superior quality digital set – top boxes of the company also inherits the time shift functionality in conjunction with DVR and an EPG. As the indicated Russian corporate has already spread its wings in Cambodia where GS Group has previously launched its DTT – based pay TV service by name of “One TV”, it further intends to spread across its digital broadcast services in other promising markets.
As Bangladesh comprehends the population of more than 165 millions, they are currently in obligation to watch substandard terrestrial cable TV or to connect illegally with foreign operators. Now the company aims to acquire significant audience through its first year of operations since it holds expertise in managing national broadcast projects in collaboration with local partner Beximco Group.
